Platform Settings

Platform Settings controls org-wide operating policy for how Observatory treats retries, idempotency, notifications, and brokers by default. This is separate from organization admin settings like members and SSO. This page is about behavior, not identity.

Section	What you can configure
Retries & Backoff	Maximum retry attempts, initial backoff, and whether backoff increases exponentially
Idempotency	Whether to enforce idempotency keys, how long a key stays valid, and whether to reject duplicate sends outright
Notifications	Alerting on DLQ growth, a Slack webhook, and an email digest
Brokers	Your default broker, connection pool size, and auto-reconnect behavior

Changing any of these requires the admin/operator role. Click Save changes once you're done. Updates apply to newly reported events going forward.
